I have similar promptings about spatial relations in the house.

I like to see the things I use a lot hanging in plain view, esp in the kitchen.

But in an orderly way.

Thanks Gayle! I am glad that you find inspiration in this. I have always tended to take a MacGyver-style approach to customizing my objects and surroundings. Sometimes my solutions work well, other times they teach me a lesson in how not to do things. I have a (deceased) stepfather to thank for inspiring me to be proactive with nail and hammer and duct tape. My husband is very supportive, and often provides a needed control valve when my lack of patience for details threatens to undermine a project. I will consider your YouTube video idea - thank you again for your enthusiasm and good luck with your project(s)! If you don't have someone to assist you when you are on a ladder, I have found it helpful to have (several) extra screws in my pockets, because they do tend to drop...
